In this case you best contact your dealer or installer who has placed the device. Generally our dealers can solve the problem. If this would not be the case, your dealer or installer can rely on the Saey Service departement. Our proper service mechanics then visit you as soon as possible to solve the problem.
Saey guarantees the supply of components for a period of 10 years after the last production.
Your Saey device is guaranteed for two years against any manufacturing defect from the date of purchase provided that it is used according to the user’s manual. The till slip or bill indicating the date substitutes for the guarantee.
The scope of this guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of parts that are discovered to be faulty during the course of normal use.
This guarantee does not apply to malfunctions due to poor installation, incorrect use, modification of the device, dismantling of the device, wear and tear or lack or maintenance.
Claims against guarantee must always be made at your point of sales.

With a built-in hearth, the mantelpiece is being built around the purchased hearth. An insert can be placed in an existing mantelpiece or in one that still needs to be built.
Modern stoves are combusting wood much more efficiently than older models. They reach an efficiency of 70 to 75 % instead of 40% before. This means that less wood is burned and that less ashes need to be removed.
The usual cause of smoking or difficult to light hearths and stoves is abundant downward draft or too little draft in your chimney. Your Saey dealer can provide effective tips and possible adapters or accessories.
Often woodstoves are recommended as multi-burners. This is very unfortunate, as burning ‘everything’ in your stove can have disastrous consequences for yourself and for the environment. Do no put household rubbish, plastic or paper in. But also not all wood can be put in the stove. Painted, impregnated or stained wood should absolutely be avoided as during the combustion of these materials detrimental substances, such as heavy metals, are released. Use hard and dry wood (oak or beech wood that has dried for at least 2 years).

As a general rule you will need 50 to 100 Watt per m3 you want to heat.
Yes, all our gas devices are equipped with a system (thermocouple) that automatically cuts off gas supply in case there is no flame to burn the gas. In case the pilot flame would be blown out, the gas supply will be cut off immediately. Furthermore our devices are equipped with a safety system (thermal repercussion security system) that ensures that the combusted fumes from the chimney cannot be blown in the room. The Saey devices are also fully tested on the correct operation of these systems before leaving the factory.
