Once the stove has been installed, some conditions have to be met in order to heat both economically and correct:
- Chimney draft: the chimney is the so called motor of the stove. The chimney draft is in other words one of the most important conditions for a good working stove. You find the right chimney draft below:

- Sealing: please pay attention that all connections between the stove and the chimney, as well as all doors of the stove are completely sealed.
- Fire wood: for a woodstove the firewood should:
- Be dry: max. 18-20% moisture (= wood stocked in a dry and well ventilated area for about 2 years)
- Have the correct length: it is advisable not to exceed the maximum width of the bottom grid
- Be of good quality (like oak, beech,…)
